Former Ukrainian PM Yulia Tymoshenko Haunted Again -Hillgrove PR Analyses the Situation

Olexander Tymoshenko, the husband of jailed Ukrainian former prime minister and the present opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko, accused President Viktor Yanukovich on Thursday, 14 Jun, of destroying justice in the former Soviet republic after Yanukovich linked his foe to a 16-year-old murder case, Reuters reported.
Yulia Tymoshenko, who is currently on hospital bed due to severe back trouble, is serving a seven year jail term imposed by the ruling party. The West and the European Union believes that the punishment awarded to the former PM is politically motivated.
Yulia Tymoshenko in April accused the prison guards of beating her and observed a hunger strike. This prompted some of the European leaders to boycott part of the Euro2012 football tournament being co-hosted by Ukraine.
Yulia, the two-time PM of Ukraine, which is the estranged part of former Soviet Union, was spearheading the country into the European Union, whereas the present government is more Russia biased. The Ukraine’s parliament recently gave initial approval to a law that will make Russian an official language and threatens to split the country along geographical and cultural lines. The move met severe resistance in parts of the country.
UK Public relations agency Hillgrove PR has been engaged by Eugenia Tymoshenko, daughter of Yulia Tymoshenko, to represent her personal communications with the media, and to highlight the plight of her ailing mother in the Western media.
